We look to add outstanding law students and lawyers to our firm. Our diverse client base and breadth of practice offer many opportunities for attorneys who embrace the Bodman commitment to the highest quality legal work and superior client service. We are proud of the work that we do and we expect that attorneys who join us will share that same pride.
We foster a firm culture that emphasizes teamwork, collegiality and diversity. We feel that maintaining a pleasant and inviting atmosphere is the best way to attract and retain the best lawyers. The effectiveness of our approach is proven. Throughout our history, Bodman has been a destination for talented associates and lateral partners who want to make it their home, not a stepping stone or point of passage. Many Bodman partners have enjoyed careers of forty years or more with the firm, with several in excess of fifty years.
Bodman is committed to diversity in the workplace at all levels of the Firm, from staff positions through the partnership ranks. Our commitment to diversity means equal opportunity for all attorneys and staff members without regard to race, gender, color, national origin, religion, age, disability or sexual orientation, as well as fostering a collegial and respectful working environment in which each person is encouraged and assisted in reaching his or her fullest potential. This commitment to diversity guides Bodman’s efforts to recruit, retain and advance the best and brightest law school graduates, lateral partners and associates. A Diversity Committee, whose members include female attorneys and attorneys of color, advises the Firm’s Executive Committee on a broad range of diversity issues and is charged with developing diversity initiatives. At Bodman we believe that diversity promotes a richer environment that produces the progressive and creative thinking essential to providing the best legal services. Bodman is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
